2017 Referendum should not be included[edit]

The unofficial opposition referendum was not authorised by the National Electoral Council and has no legally binding effect - it was an opposition plebiscite, not a poll, and was voted on entirely by opposition supporters, given that a dry run vote for the Constituent Assembly was taking place on the same day. We include "unofficial" referendums on other countries' templates, so I see no reason not to include it here. Millions of people voted in it and it was widely reported. Number 57 12:14, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Which other unofficial polls have been included? Oiygg (talk) 13:56, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ones like Ålandic status referendum, 1919, Cypriot enosis referendum, 1950, Bolivian referendum, 1986 and Mexican referendums, 1995. I'm sure there are more. Number 57 19:36, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
