Talk:Secular liberalism

Problematic coverage[edit]

The article has a number of issues including the lack of good sources: it would be better if we could have coverage from some kind of text on political philosophy or political theory or ideology. It seems very narrowly restricted to British and American sources. The terms of political discussion are much different in a country like France. I can't quite put my finger on what is wrong with this article, but there is much that needs fixing. —Tom Morris (talk) 09:58, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added some discussion about the state of secular liberalism in France. I hope you like it. GVnayR (talk) 23:48, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thematic Approach[edit]

As I said in the AfD discussion, this topic currently lacks salient points of secular liberalism (henceforth ScL). We're relegating the topic itself to the introduction; the bulk of the article discusses periphery topics surrounding ScL. Lets tackle this thematically and give it a proper treatment.Bunston (talk) 06:40, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Beliefs section[edit]

I'm not sure I understood much of what was being conveyed in the Beliefs section and how it is directly tied to liberal secularism. Requires clarification. 24.200.87.51 (talk) 20:52, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
