印度陆军第14军组建于1999年印巴锡亚琴冰川之战，驻拉达克，辖2个师，分别针对巴控克什米尔与中国的南疆军区。[2]
历史[编辑]
1962年灾难性的战争后，由驻那加兰的各部队组建。作为印度东部军区预备队，并就地镇压反政府游击队。[3]1999年移防拉达克。[4]
编成[编辑]
- 步兵第3师：1962年10月在拉达克组建该师。参加1965年第二次印巴战争。[5]1991年时隶属于印度陆军第15军。师部驻Karu，距离列城40km。卡吉尔战争中，该师辖师属炮兵第3旅、步兵第70旅、步兵第102旅。[6]
- 步兵第8师：1963年组建，用于镇压那加兰反政府武装。直至1990年，师部驻科希马，隶属于印度陆军第3军[5]。目前师部驻德拉斯，是对抗巴控克什米尔的第一线。
- 高海拔医学研究中心（The High Altitude Medical Research Centre，HAMRC）：第14军所属第153总医院挂牌。[4]
