Welcome!

Hello, MLKLewis, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Werner Erhard. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

AN/I

[edit]

Hi, this is to let you know that I have mentioned your name at WP:AN/I#Concern_about_administrative_conduct_on_deletion_request in connection with an incident you were involved in. --JN466 18:01, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you for letting me know about this. I did not think it was a problem to take things off my own talk page, especially since anyone who wants to can check the history. I had added some wording to the est page that was accurately sourced in two reliable publications, but I didn't add the quotes to indicate it was the exact language. I was really taken aback by the accusation of plagiarism and copyright violation without any discussion of how to include my input to improve the article. I felt like I was being attacked. I didn't go back to making any more edits on the est page after that, and I edited my talk page because I didn't like the vitriol of Cirt's comments sitting there.--MLKLewis (talk) 20:27, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Jack Rosenberg, you may be blocked from editing. -- Cirt (talk) 20:22, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello MLK - I think that many of your recent edits to a number of est related articles have been balanced and appropriate. Sensei48 (talk) 00:52, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Werner Erhard (book). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. -FASTILY (TALK) 06:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MLKLewis, note that I have referred to your current dispute here. (This is without prejudice to the appropriateness or otherwise of your content edits.) --JN466 15:41, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MLK, would you have citation data for the two reviews you mentioned on the Werner Erhard (book) talk page a few weeks ago? Cheers, --JN466 19:19, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I do. I also responded on the talk page at Werner Erhard (Book) - Psychology Today - "How Werner Got It", by Morris B. Parloff, Psychology Today, November 1978. p. 136. and the Gale: "William Warren Bartley, III," Contemporary Authors Online. Detroit: Gale 2001. Literature Resource Center. - Thanks --MLKLewis (talk) 01:50, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Doing my research and finding articles such as this about the film, I used that source and others to improve the article.. turning the original unsourced stub into a decent C-class article. I invite you to The Diary of Sacco and Vanzetti to see if the changes from this to THIS meet your concerns toward the original's lack of content and sources. Best, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 23:59, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has asked for a deletion review of How Much Can We Boost IQ and Scholastic Achievement?. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. aprock (talk) 23:25, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
