Own comment at Tea house
[edit]Hello Cordless Larry. In responding to your tier-1 warning on my talk page, I just wanted to let you know that you were warning me over a removal of my own comment on the Tea house after the question had been answered. Normally I leave the question open in case it might serve some instructive purpose for others, but this one was a particularly niche case suited to just me so I felt it appropriate to remove the comment. If that is "bad practice", then I will not remove even my own Tea House comments again in the future. However, I do not think that warrants a tier-1 warning, or any warning template over such a removal of one's own comment after having been satisfactorily answered.. MiG-29 in the Kosovo War
[edit]Hello.
I don't understand the cancellation of the accuracy of the destruction of 4 MiG-29s on the ground reported in the article of 2013 I'm referring to. How is it "invalid"? It's an article written by a Swiss specialist in military history who has worked with French magazines for many years: https://lautrecotedelacolline.blogspot.com/2013/05/les-mig-29-au-combat.html
A more recent article from 2020 indicates a total of 11 destroyed in total leaving 5 aircraft intac but one was destroyed after the end of the war on November 5 1999. There is one table per aircraft in this article : https://redsamovar.com/2020/03/25/actu-les-mig-29-serbes/ L'amateur d'aéroplanes (talk) 08:50, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- You didn't link to the article in your citation, which was in French (this is the English-language Wikipedia). It also seems that other editors regard the source as unreliable. Please raise this on the article's talk page if you want to contest the reversion of your edits. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:21, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
