Katherine Dávalos Ortega (born July 16, 1934) is an American political figure. She was the 38th Treasurer of the United States from September 26, 1983 to July 1, 1989 under Presidents Ronald Reagan and then George H. W. Bush. Ortega also has the first female bank president in the state of California.[1]
