Materiał został nagrany w Santa Barbara i Nowym Jorku od kwietnia do sierpnia 2016 roku. Album został nagrany z nowym producentem, Jamesem Fordem. Jest to ostatni album grupy, na którym zagrał zmarły w 2022 roku Andy Fletcher.
