The Amazing Race Canada 10 is the upcoming tenth season of The Amazing Race Canada, a Canadian reality competition show based on the American series The Amazing Race. Hosted by Jon Montgomery, it will feature eleven teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race across Canada. The grand prize includes a CA$250,000 cash payout, a trip for two around the world courtesy of Expedia, and two 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV RS vehicles. Starting in Niagara Falls, Ontario, racers travelled through Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec. The season will premiere on CTV on July 2, 2024.
Production[edit]
Development and filming[edit]
On September 19, 2023, CTV announced that the show was renewed for a tenth season prior to the finale of the ninth season.[1]
Filming for this season began on April 23, 2024,[2] in Niagara Falls, Ontario.[3] Teams were spotted in Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, on April 26.[4] On April 28, filming occurred in Richmond, British Columbia.[5] Then, the show was in Penticton and Oliver, British Columbia, from April 28 to 29.[6] On May 2, racers travelled through Regina, Saskatchewan,[2][7] and Russell, Manitoba.[8] On May 8, a leg was filmed in Shawinigan, Quebec.[9] On May 10, teams encountered Scottish Highland style challenges in Maxville, Ontario.[10][11][12] Filming concluded on May 15.[13]
Casting[edit]
Casting for this season opened on October 5, 2023,[14] and closed on December 11.[15]
Broadcast[edit]
On June 6, 2024, CTV announced that this season would premiere on July 2, 2024.[16]
Marketing[edit]
Chevrolet, Expedia, Desjardins Group, and Paramount Pictures, which promoted Transformers One, returned as sponsors. New sponsors included Boost and Kids Help Phone.[17]

The cast, which was revealed on June 18, 2024, includes reality TV stars Kevin Martin and Gurleen Maan, former baseball players Michael Crouse and Tyson Gillies, former basketball player Michael Linklater, and former NHL player Brad May.[3]
