Miami Swim Week
Miami Swim Week is an annual fashion week held in Miami Beach, Florida, United States. Focused on swimwear and beachwear, it takes place every year during the summer, usually in the middle of July. It began as brands producing their own fashion shows in various hotels and venues around Miami Beach. Since 2018, while many of events are still happening around the city, the shows have regrouped into two main events:
- Paraiso Miami Beach at Paraiso Tent, that hosted 13 runway shows over 3 days in 2019.[1]
- Miami Swim Week at Faena Forum, produced by Art Hearts Fashion, that hosted 35 shows over 6 days in 2019.[1][2]
Paraiso is an "industry only" event with limited capacity while the shows at the Faena Forum are open to the public and are attended by over 10,000 people each year.[citation needed]
Most events were cancelled or moved online during 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3]
