헤르만 리델보스

헤르만 니콜라스 리델보스(Herman Nicolaas Ridderbos, 1909년 2월 13일 - 2007년 3월 8일)는 네덜란드의 신학자이며 성경의 학자였다. 그는 저명한 신약학자로서 구원사(Heilsgeschichte)와 성경신학 분야에서 큰 영향을 끼쳤다. 그는 네덜란드 프리슬란트주 이스터린에서 태어났다. 그의 아버지 얀 리델보스는 네덜란드 개혁교회의 목사였으며 성경주석가이자 캄펜 신학교에서 구약학자였다. 그는 암스테르담 자유 대학교에서 크로쉐데(F. W.  Grosheide) 지도아래 박사학위를 1936년에 받았다. 논문은 마태복음의 산상설교의 취지였다[The Tenor of the Sermon on the Mount according to Matthew]. 네덜란트 프로테스탄트교회소속으로 8년 동안 목회를 하였고 1943년 캄펜 신학교에서 세클 그래다니우스(Seakle Greijdanus )의 후임으로 신약신학을 40년 이상 강의했다.^[1] Gereformeerde Weekblad의 편집국장을 역임했으며, 대표적인 책은 『하나님 나라』, 『바울과 예수』, 『마태복음강해』 등이 있다. 한국에서는 박윤선 박사를 비롯한 여러 신학학자들에게서 큰 영향를 주었다.

그는 성경신학이라는 용어보다 '구속사적 신학'이라는 용어를 선호하였다.^[2]
