존 래리티 (John G. Rarity)는 2003년부터 영국 브리스틀 대학교의 전기전자공학부, 광통신 시스템 교수로 재직[1]중인 영국의 물리학자이다. 단 한개의 광양자를 이용한 양자광학과 양자암호, 양자통신의 세계적인 석학으로 양자계산정보그룹의 회원이기도 하다.[2]
