나이지리아의 부통령
나이지리아의 부통령은 나이지리아 정부의 2인자이다. 공식적으로 나이지리아 연방 공화국의 부통령으로 불리는 부통령은 전국 선거에서 나이지리아 대통령과 함께 선출되었다. 그 사무실은 현재 카심 셰티마가 소유하고 있다.
적임
[편집]40세 이상의 나이로 나이지리아 시민권자이고 정당 소속이며 그 정당의 후원을 받는 경우 부통령직을 받을 자격이 있다.[1]
행정직
[편집]나이지리아 부통령의 행정직은 모든 각료회의에 참여하며, 법령에 따라 국가안전보장회의, 국방위원회, 연방집행위원회, 국가경제위원회 의장직을 포함한다. 부통령은 이러한 위원회와 의회에서 근무함으로써 행정각부의 정책 수립에 적극적인 역할을 할 수 있지만, 나이지리아 부통령실의 상대적 권력은 대통령이 위임한 직무에 달려 있다.[2]
