Acid jazz is a direction of the jazz, which was developed from Acid House, Soul, radio and jazz. Thus a combination of many modern dance music forms developed: from Reggae to Hip Hop and House Music, which were held together by skillful Sampling and the Beat of the Acid House. The term was coined/shaped 1988 by the DJ Gilles Petterson.
