フレデリック・メーグル（Frederik Magle、1977年4月17日 - ）は、デンマークの作曲家である。

略歴[編集]

Stubbekøbing生まれ。オルガニストで画家の父を持つ。

レイフ・ティボとユング・ヤン・トレードに師事したが、英語版ウィキペディアの記事で訴えられるほど独創的な試みはなく、その実際は「新しい単純性」にのっとった新調性音楽である。ロックやジャズのクロスオーヴァーもみられ、原則的に三和音が作品の表面を覆っており、現代音楽に疎い聴衆でも楽しめる作りになっている。

近年は宗教音楽への接近も見られる。
