正式名称がどれか、という話は面倒なので、通称で構わないと思います。ただ、公式サイトや公式に準じる財団サイトなどでは、「OpenStreetMap（OSM）」の名称が好んで使われているように思えます。「オープンストリートマップ」の名称は財団名の一部として見かける程度です。--Frozen-mikan（会話） 2012年6月18日 (月) 07:55 (UTC)[返信]

コメント 少なくともOSMFJでの使用実績がある分は、「オープンストリートマップ」の方が中黒ありの「オープン・ストリート・マップ」の方がよいでしょうね。これが正式かとか最もよく使われているかはともかく、「なるべくカタカナ書きで分かりやすいように」という限定条件下ではこれが最適解ではないでしょうか。その制限下でなければ「OpenStreetMap」でもいいでしょうが、どっちもどっちなのでこのままでも良いのでは、とも思います。--青子守歌（会話/履歴） 2012年6月18日 (月) 08:21 (UTC)[返信]

Would it be possible and useful to support the OSM-Gadget in the japanese Wikipedia? It's an OpenStreetMap integrated inside Wikipedia and still activated in a lot of language versions (ru, de, fr, it, ....) The installation is really easy and needs the copy of 5 lines of code. We work on the cooperation with OpenStreetMap.org since 2009 and support now also the highlighting of objects for an article by using wikipedia-tags inside OSM (WIWOSM). BTW: There will be the http://www.stateofthemap.org as the biggest OpenStreetMap conference this September in Tokio. It could be interesting if also Wikipedians would be there.

中の人なのでノートにて提案します。OpenStreetMapのコミュニティでは、OSM財団と世界各地のローカル組織の主催で、年次のカンファレンスStete of the Map(SotM)を開催しています。2007年から毎年（2016年をのぞく）開催されており、2017年は8月に日本の会津で第10回を開催予定です。本カンファレンスは長く継続していますし、ニュース媒体で取り上げられた過去もあるので、記事として記載するにふさわしいのではないか、と思います。
