ザ・スクリプト（The Script）はダニエル・オドナヒュー、マーク・シーハン、グレン・パワーの3人から成るアイルランド出身のスリーピース・バンド。2008年4月に「We Cry」でデビューし、同年10月22日には、1stアルバム『The Script』をリリースした。2009年3月17日には、アメリカデビューを果たす。 1stアルバムである「The Script」は本国アイルランドやUKチャートで1位を獲得し、これまでに世界各国でプラチナム・レコードとして認定されている。4月には来日公演を果たした。 来日の際東京公演においてはノルウェーの3ピース・バンド、Black Roomがサポート・アクトとして参加した。2ndアルバム『Science & Faith』はアイルランドで2010年9月10日に発売、3rdアルバム『#3』はアイルランドで2012年9月7日に発売、4thアルバム『No Sound Without Silence』はアイルランドで2014年9月12日に発売された。
2023年4月14日、結成メンバーでギタリストのマーク・シーハンが死去した[1]。
