Sandarmokh
[edit]Dear colleague. Please do not cancel my edits. Sandarmokh is formerly a memorial forest on the site of a shooting range. And the photo you inserted into the article is one of the destroyed monuments, which is also politically controversial. Воскресенский Петр (talk) 12:56, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- In particular, in Sandarmokh it was not the Ukrainians who killed the Chekists, but the other way around --Воскресенский Петр (talk) 13:14, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Воскресенский Петр Hello, I did not insert the photo, I simply reverted back to it after you changed it without providing an explanation. I am not really convinced by your explanation here either. According to the uploader of the image, it is a monument featured at the entrance to the memorial, the photo is of good quality and provides a translation of what is written, seems more interesting than a more general image of the forest to me, though I wouldn't have anything against the image you added being featured somewhere else in the article.
- As for who was killing who, I don't see what that has to do with the image, but I would suggest you start a discussion on Talk:Sandarmokh for further discussion if you would still like to change the image. TylerBurden (talk) 17:02, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- OK. Do you speak Ukrainian or Russian?--Воскресенский Петр (talk) 20:48, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
What the
[edit]why did you remove my addition to Nordic Cross Flags. I literally saw it on Wikipedia. What am I expected to do? Letme2929 (talk) 19:16, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Letme2929 Wikipedia is not a reliable source and the image is WP:OR, created by a Wikipedia editor citing no other sources, if you have evidence that the flag actually exists and is used, then feel free to post it. TylerBurden (talk) 15:18, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
Wagner comments
[edit]Regardless of our obvious difference in opinion, comments like these [1], are not in line with Wikipedia's policy on not making personal comments against other editors, or policy on keeping it civil and assuming good faith from other editors. "editors like you"? In any case, I said my piece. The reason I reverted you was because, like I commented, in the past, editors discussed it and found agreement that it was more appropriate for the main body of the article. But if you want to go against that, have it your way. I am not interested in arguing and find it tedious. Happy editing. EkoGraf (talk) 16:24, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
Comment of claim
[edit]TylerBurden, if you could please cite this removal as imposed by Wikipedia's best practices, that would be appreciated. From your edit history it seems you may be too opinionated and biased for this site.
