American Idol Logo Pic[edit]

Would it be okay if the image American_Idol_logo.svg‎ was to be listed on the List of American Idol episodes page? I understand you are the creator & holder of the pic.

Thanks. I deleted it because I didn't want to make it seem like I keep asking, technically you could say I replaced it, but I really do see your point. I'll re-add the message, Thanks for adding the pic!

Thanks, man! Yeah, I figured it out.

I see that you've extracted a SVG for the 6/49 logo (File:Lotto 649 logo.svg) from a PDF [1]. Could you do the one http://www.olg.ca/assets/documents/game_conditions/lotto_s7_game_conditions.pdf here too?

Orphaned non-free media (File:Buena Vista logo.svg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Buena Vista logo.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:54, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clock[edit]

When I saw your digital clock, I decided to make an analogue clock. It works, except for in between 5 and 10 minutes, because I would have to make images for every second, that would be about 3 600 images! So it is technically off 4 minutes; I am hoping to see your opinion on my talk, and want to know if there is any bugs with it. You can see it on my userpage, were it is a template from my sandbox. Bugboy52.4 | =-= 15:25, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Awww man! I wanted to make the first one! It looks nice though :). Oh well, maybe you can help me fix mine. First, it only displays the time on every 5 minutes (I uploaded 12 images for each hand, each image on a different hand) Second, I couldn't figure out how to make time zone differences, like mines being -4. An dfinally, when I upload it, it doesn't show the differences sometimes, and does others. I am hoping you could help me, and I hope that It can become just as popular as your digital. Bugboy52.4 | =-= 00:11, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome!! Do you ever thought in making more clock designs? - Damërung ...ÏìíÏ..._Ξ_ . --  14:52, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well for him probably not, but for me it would take awail, especially the way he made it, but I think I finally found out how he did it, using the equation and position thing with the time and pixels, or something like that. Bugboy52.4 | =-= 21:42, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So how did you add time zones? Bugboy52.4 | =-= 16:28, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
forget it, sorry, I figured out on my own, who knew that they you can use the time parser function. Bugboy52.4 | =-= 00:09, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, hello! I uploaded four of your images to another wiki.[edit]

Hello! We here at the Assassin's Creed Wiki thank you for creating your images PlayStationTriangle.svg, PlayStationCircle.svg, PlayStationSquare.svg, and PlayStationX.svg. They're very nice, and useful. I thought you'd like to know I've uploaded them to our wiki!

  • PlayStationTriangle.svg can be found on our wiki here.
  • PlayStationCircle.svg can be found on our wiki here.
  • PlayStationSquare.svg can be found on our wiki here.
  • PlayStationX.svg can be found on our wiki here.

Each of their file description pages include the following message:

Created by Tkgd2007 at the English Wikipedia. Licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License.

A prime example of them in action can be found on the page Controls. That page was a cluttered mess so I personally cleaned it up. It looks much nicer with your images than it would without.

I realize that I am not obliged to let you know by the GNU license, but still, I wish to let you know.

P.S. I do NOT intend this as an advertisement, I just wanted to let you know. Please don't interpret it as such!

Facebook userbox[edit]

Hi. I have been using the Facebook userbox you created for some time. Anyways, as most people with a Facebook profile know, they started allowing users to start using usernames in the domain of their Facebook page instead of just the profile number. I put my username in and removed the profile number, and it redirected to Facebook's home page. I was just wondering if there would be any way you could create a Facebook userbox that can use the username, since you have alternate userboxes on the same userbox for Facebok. Thanks! Question[edit]

Hey, on your user page you have a scrolling box for your userboxes. I have alot of userboxes, so I could use that. What is the code to do that? Also, after seeing you page I decided to make the header for my page. It is a very nice page. The only problem is that your header coveres up the options at the top of the screen. I had to use my alt-e + enter to add my comment. You might want to fix that.Enryū6473 Talk 20:39, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am using IE8, Windows XP, and font is defalt. As for the scroll bar, I dont know what CSS is. But I'll give the thing a try. Thanks.Enryū6473 Talk 04:33, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ya, it didn't work (or I didn't get it to work anyway). Thanks for the help never the less. I have been working on my page to try an make it as best as I can, so I thought that might help. I'll just leave it as it is for now.Enryū6473 Talk 04:54, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Certified Superspeeed USB logo.svg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Certified Superspeeed USB logo.svg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:43, 3 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 16:43, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:McDonald's Corporate Logo.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Thanks for uploading File:Alexander Keith's logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:06, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your Userpage[edit]

Hey, TKGD2007! I've noticed the unique way you've detered vandils, but one with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS could easily vandilize your page. See comment I made on User:TkGD2007/Left Column. Wouldn't it be easier to make an endless loop of templates before landing on your actual columns? Please revert my edit after you read this post. Thank you.

Userbox: time where user lives[edit]

Hi! :-)

I commend you for creating so many user userboxes, and this one in particular:

It is approximately 3:07 PM where this user lives.

I am having a little problem with it, it shows my time only after I make changes to my user page, but then the hour stays the same and does not change until the next save... I tried to refresh the page but it doesn't help. Do you know why it happens? How can I fix this?

Thanks a lot, John Hyams (talk) 14:45, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:3ds_Max_logo.svg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:3ds_Max_logo.svg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 11:16, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Weasel[edit]

TK, if you ever have time, and only if it's no trouble, I was wondering if I could ask you for a favour. It's about your weasel image. I was wondering if you'd be able to produce the same background for the peacock image that we're using on the same page i.e. with a transparent background. It would look nicer, and would make it easier to use in other sections if we want to move it around; without the transparent background it's apparently pushing other things out of the way. We're using the images on a new version of the Words to avoid guideline, currently being written at User:SlimVirgin/Words to watch. But if you're busy, please feel free to ignore the request. :) Cheers, SlimVirgin talk contribs 01:49, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Lightroom screenshot.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Lightroom screenshot.png.

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Replaceable fair use File:English Pokémon logo.svg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:English Pokémon logo.svg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hello, just wanted ask you that as you have uploaded a different version of the logo I uploaded, if you are an administrator, please delete the image I uploaded because it is no longer need. If your not an admin. can you please nominate it for deletion (I don't know how to do that). Thanks!!!--Dom497 (talk) 19:20, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Adobe Dynamic Link has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable software, no claim to notability, three year old page, no references.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please note[edit]

Your files are constantly being deleted or subject to deletion, due to missing licensing or lack of detail. I'm afraid if this continues; you may be blocked (suspended) from editing Wikipedia, which means no file uploads, changes or edits to articles. You can talk while blocked, but only if you get those rules. It can vary between 24 hours and a permanent block. Be careful about what you do of Wikipedia. Web+TV+3=WebTV3! (talk) 23:41, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My Reply: I see very few instances of the case of "missing licensing or lack of detail". Less than 10... I counted 5, and they were two years ago. Unless there are instances that haven't been noted on my talk page. If you actually look at my this page, almost all of the images that have been deleted were orphaned by other members of the community, and replaced by more current images. I don't see any basis for blocking someone who has been pretty much inactive on Wikipedia, and made hundreds of proper, rule abiding additions to Wikipedia. Forgive me for the mistakes, but if you have any further examples of my wrongdoings, feel free to share and I'll do my best to fix them up. TKGD2007|TALK 00:33, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
