2024 Feb tournaments[edit]

Tournaments:

Hi, I'd like to say a few words about the Tournoi de France: there won't be a tournament in 2024. The FFF has decided not to renew the women's Tournoi de France because of (or thanks to) the 2023-24 UEFA Women's Nations League. @SuperJew: That's a good question! In the article from L'Équipe it sounds like it's definitive and there won't be any Tournoi de France in the future years, but I think it would be safer to check in 2025.

Thanks for the find! It makes sense (even though England didn't make the finals), as four strong teams won't be available (Spain, Netherlands, France, Germany), but more importantly the issue is probably the competition in ratings. However, I'm not sure why they don't delay it by a few months like the US did for SheBelieves Cup --SuperJew (talk) 21:38, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes you're right, furthermore if they delay it by a few months that would be an interesting tournament for example for teams that will play the Olympics in Paris, against a very tough opponent: England. Seems there's a condensed version of the Pinatar Cup for WU17.
