Done. (nice flowers!) Storye book (talk) 09:37, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Peter Graeme - Looking at Talk:Vivaldi, I have the impression (again) that my English is not sufficient. Any ideas? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:46, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
congrats to the dyk - seen yesterday but it was a travel day, back from Munich where I finally visited the Cuvilliés Theatre and saw Mozart on stage! They play mostly plays there, if anything. I felt so lucky! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:50, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Peter Graeme done. Will look at Talk Vivaldi. Storye book (talk) 16:59, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I had a look at the Vivaldi discussion about infoboxes. Those people are tiresome, and your English in that discussion is fine. I think that the main issue there is that it is a very popular and important article, and very popular and important articles attract a lot of editors who become defensive against change. It's up to you, but I usually avoid that sort of article myself, for that very reason. Anyway, there are plenty of obscure musician-subjects which need your expertise, so I suggest going where you are happiest. Storye book (talk) 17:17, 6 March 2024 (UTC).[reply]
Thank you for looking, and perhaps you can also help me understand, because while I like to hear that what wrote makes sense, I have the feeling that I don't understand others. We can discard three discussions about infoboxes, because they ended with a consensus to have one (again, after 2013 and 2017). I was tempted to add it, but also know my reputation as an infobox monster, so was happy that Nemov did it, 8 January, in the edit summary requesting that changes should be made per WP:BRD. On 24 February, SchroCat removed the link to his works, citing MOS:FORCELINK. That wasn't a new idea, it came up for Rossini, but had not gotten traction there (at least I thought).
What followed was a series of reverts, Nemov, Nikkimaria, I, SchroCat, I, SchroCat. I tried to give explanations in the edit summaries, SchroCat demanded in his last that I go to the talk page. (I could have told him that he had been bold and reverted, so he should have gone to the talk page, but I had my generous day and went.) There we are. Nemov started a clarification on MOS:Infoboxes soon, and two editors said FORCELINK doesn't apply to infoboxes, and SchroCat doesn't (want to) hear that. Yes, I write my articles on smaller composers, but this annoys me enough to keep watching. SchroCat's first edit to the article was 5 November 2023. Yes, he made some constructive edits. I think that if any guideline prohibits the link from a composer to their works, the guideline should be changed. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:01, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I agree with all that you say, and I don't think there is any more to understand. These are people who just want to control. I think you can achieve far more by creating more obscure articles. Obscure does not mean lesser. I just means that fewer people appreciate them, and that is the philistines' loss, not ours. And we can put infoboxes on those more obscure articles. Vivaldi can look after himself. He has millions of supporters and researchers all over the world. Travelling musicians, for example, have so few outsiders to appreciate them, yet some of them in the past achieved so much, and worked so hard, and probably struggled terribly to feed their families. Leave Vivaldi to the trolls, and let's support those heroes who are yet unsung by the general public, yet they are notable enough for an article. And you are already doing that, better than anyone. Just my opinion. Storye book (talk) 21:16, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, - it's of course the smoother way. I "sang" about Kelsey Lauritano, and then forgot to nominate in time. What do you think? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:21, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I gave Kiri Te Kanawa a ref on her birthday. May she live many more years - the article had many problems and is still far from good. The 1971 performance in London changed my life because two of my friends traveled to be there. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:54, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the links. I enjoyed the Lauritano article, and I'm pleased that Obama gave her a scholarship. I can't imagine certain other recent US presidents awarding opera scholarships. I was fascinated by the te Kanawa article. I had not realised all that about her background. Respect. Storye book (talk) 09:29, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Françoise Garner? - I'm not leaving Vivaldi, because first they came for Rossini ... - Te Kanawa: I meant the referencing. - Did you see the DYK nom for Lauritano, on the talk? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:02, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Storye book (talk) 18:03, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bless you, you are brave for trying to protect the Vivaldi page. Meanwhile, I have a story for you (British humour alert). Recently I went to a large restaurant, which is will-known here. It has a resident pianist. He is the William McGonagall of palm court music, in that he has no inkling of rhythm, metre, beat, or anything in that department. On the contrary, he specialises in 1940s romantic film music and recent popular music, with much unexpected variation of speed, dynamic, tonality, key and tune. He works hard for his pay, and is very enthusiastic. British humour means that he gets a big smile and a tip. Bless. Storye book (talk) 18:20, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Saw the Lauritano. Yes, that needs dealing with. Will look later. Storye book (talk) 18:29, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerda Arendt: Have you completed all your current QPQ reviews? Just asking. ;-) Storye book (talk) 11:15, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I offered more than I had to to, but several are waiting for responses from their authors, - they should be accepted before conclusion though. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:54, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was referring to Hibiscus Rising? Storye book (talk) 16:48, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

3 lizards and 3 camelias - Hans Krieger? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:06, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Krieger done. But please would you check that this is the correct person? I could only find one picture, so I was not able to confirm identity. Storye book (talk) 09:57, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Will have to ask. Never met him in person, - yes I was at a concert when a work by him was premiered but he wasn't asked to come on stage. - File:Guy Touvron 9001.JPG - I think it's overly long without information; I'm also not sure if it pictures him in 2014 although that's the date on commons. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:57, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Krieger image confirmed! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:16, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Storye book (talk) 22:24, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Today, my story is a piece dear to my heart, still in memory. When I sang it first, a friend was in the audience with her husband who knew he was to die soon. She played a tape from the performance for his funeral. I may have told you before. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:25, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I uploaded vacation pics (from back home), at least the first day, - and remember Aribert Reimann. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:15, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your story of your friend in the audience was very moving. She was lucky to have that music. And Reimann - he must have been a great man. I can't imagine what a modern version of lieder would sound like. I am used to the 19th-century version. You have to be able to hear the story very clearly - or at least you need to know the story beforehand. Singing 19th-century lieder is is an edifying experience. You go home and learn this rather plain song in a simple key, but when you sing it with your singing teacher, her accompaniment makes harmonies that change it into something extremely subtle and wonderful - other-worldly, almost. I don't know how you would create that effect with modern music. Storye book (talk) 20:27, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You say that so well - and compare what the obituary writer from Gramophone said (and quoted) about Reimann getting singers to find new sounds for 19th-century songs by his playing. - I went to Medea in Berlin, and there he was during intermission, looking like his pic on Wikipedia. - The last three who died had a pic already, the soprano even two good ones! Wish I knew Russian. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:41, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't speak a word of Russian, although I know a few song names. But the Soviet musicians that I studied had a mindset that said any foreigner should be able to understand the songs in the same way that they understand instrumental music. They sang with great discipline, and their emotional expression did not depend on the words at all. Maybe they still do that, I don't know. The ones that I studied are all dead now, but their recordings are classics. Storye book (talk) 20:50, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for sharing, - interesting. - I was looking for someone to add to her bio, but gave up when I realised that the English text is taken word for word from the cited ref. Let's just keep quiet ... - Next day, around Porto da Cruz, on Bach's birthday --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:38, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wolfgang Fortner image? - If you go over WT:DYK you find two instances where I'd like help. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:29, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fortner done. Storye book (talk) 09:02, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at WT:DYK today, but could not find those instances by searching for your username on the page. Storye book (talk) 09:12, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the pic! - I'm sorry, it was too late, I meant WP:DYKN. The director is more important for me than the musicologist who had his time on RD. I don't have the language for saying that an opera productions is something unique and outstanding, not people doing their job. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:02, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for explaining, and I understand it ... Any help with a different hook or using the source better in the article welcome, - I'm out for the day. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:11, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Günther Leib pic? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:40, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Storye book (talk) 09:09, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
thank you, like it! - a few new pics, and two people for DYK --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:35, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
... and still a few more pics, a calf in the mist and chocolate cake, and a story of collaboration - with thanks for yours! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:04, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I listen to Bach's St John Passion today, - 300 years after it was first performed. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:18, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The St Matthew. Lovely. Perfect for today! I went to a "high church" Anglican church a few days ago, to photograph some sculpture. They had veiled the Madonna in purple for Lent, just like the Roman Catholic churches. Storye book (talk) 20:26, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not Matthew, no, John, the earlier, bolder, more dramatic one. Am in my second listening (see link to my talk), with RIAS Kammerchor (YouTube). Did you see the latest images, with purple veils in the church and for the Jesus carried in procession. These wind band (saxophones!) and drums were quite impressive in the streets. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:38, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, sorry, my bad. It has been a long day, today. The procession must have been lovely. Tomorrow there will be sunshine here in the morning, so I will see if I can photograph a local war memorial which has carvings on it. Then in the afternoon is the Oxford-Cambridge boat race. It is usually fun, but this year they must be careful, because the Thames is polluted with e-coli. Sad. Usually they throw the coxswain in the river afterwards, to celebrate, but this year they cannot - too dangerous. Storye book (talk) 21:00, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How was the race? - Two days later in time, a different music, - Happy Easter! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:16, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. The race was both fun and sad. The winners (Cambridge) were fine athletes, both the male and the female crews. I wondered at first whether the Oxford male crew was ill-prepared, but after the race they revealed that some had been ill with (guess what?) e-coli, although tests at that point did not yet permit them to blame the privatised water company Thames Water, which (as I understand it) has for a long time been responsible for putting human sewage in the water. The water companies here are all privatised, and they need profit, so they are saving money any way they can, and are now charging householders a huge amount for water. We currently have a Tory government, and they don't like nationalising companies. So in my opinion, that situation is at least part of the problem. But on boat race day, that problem became much more visible. Now we wait and see what happens next. Probably not much. Storye book (talk) 08:40, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Euan Duthie, Lord Duthie[edit]

On 5 March 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Euan Duthie, Lord Duthie, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that the Scottish judge Lord Duthie served as an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Euan Duthie, Lord Duthie. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Euan Duthie, Lord Duthie), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Reqphoto for Rikkyo School[edit]

Hi! I found that photos had been posted for the Rikkyo School main entrance. I was wondering if I could request specific images with the signage displayed more clearly, like in this view of Google Maps (maybe someone could use a wide angle lens). There are pics, but I'd like to see some with more quality.

Thanks, WhisperToMe (talk) 04:57, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your interest. I am not going there at the moment, but I may be able to organise it. It may take a while, and I cannot promise. Storye book (talk) 09:04, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Postcardcatfinder[edit]

Hello Storye_book, I see you are sorting the postcard in the Category:Postcards. Maybe you find my tool Postcardcatfinder useful. Many tanks for your help on this many postcards. And also for your uploads. --sk (talk) 16:31, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the link, Stefan. I'm not really sorting the postcards per se. I am just noticing that a lot of "my" uploaded postcards have been categorised "postcard", so I am just making those edits more precise. I shall make a note of your tool, and have a go with it in the future. Old postcards are fun, aren't they. They contain a lot of very useful information for the articles that I write for en.Wikipedia. Thank you for all the wonderful work that you do on Commons. Power to you. New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024[edit]

Hello Storye book,

New Page Review queue January to March 2024

Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.

It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!

2023 Awards

Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.

Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.

Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.

Kurt Equiluz pic? - better late than never, someone found a new ref. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:02, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Storye book (talk) 16:24, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! - Enjoying the womens' wit winning - as you suggested ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:32, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I like to see Appalachian Spring on the Main page today (not by me, just interested and reviewed), and I also made it my story. - How do you like the statue (look up places) - I was undecided so show three versions ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:20, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. That Appalachian Spring article is a serious bit of kit. Well done those editors. (I could not find a statue?) Storye book (talk) 18:29, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I said "look up places", no? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:32, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Send me a link? Storye book (talk) 18:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I thought I come with my images long enough to abbreviate, that "places" means the link called "places" below the image, where I normally update but in this case - new month - it's new. Should I explain that "story" means the daily story, and "music" the three items on my talk that also change practically every day? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sorry, thank you, I have found it now. The pictures at the bottom of your page are not showing, though. The broadband in my village is too slow in the evenings, when everyone is using it. I will look again tomorrow morning. Storye book (talk) 18:54, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Should I perhaps break up more perhaps, by month? Or make the vacation times blocks with a new header?
Here is No. 2, and the others just have 1 and 3 instead of the 2. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:17, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
pic Gerhard Lohfink? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:09, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Gerhard Lohfink done. And that is a beautiful photo of the Hildegard statue. Thank you for the link. Storye book (talk) 07:19, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! - Today I see Marian Anderson as my top story (by NBC, 1939), and below (on my talk) three people with raised arms, - and the place is the cherry blossom in Frauenstein. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:47, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent! Storye book (talk) 16:52, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! - Andrea Ihle pic? - news of her death just came around, happened in June last year. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:37, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Andrea Ihle pic done. Sadly, there were only two photos out there (that I could find). One was old and fuzzy, and one was OK but very small. I chose the small one. I hope that's OK until a better pic is found. Storye book (talk) 08:24, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, - where would I see the other? - You remember that a certain user said he looks at my noms only because they linger and need his mercy? I nominated yesterday, and he asked a specific other user to review. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:47, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The other pic is here. Its from this webpage. Looking at it again, maybe the black and white one is the better image? What do you think? Storye book (talk) 08:56, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's better because more the age of what the article deals with, singing all these girls. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:05, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, the image is now replaced. I have marked the previous image for deletion. You're right, the younger-looking photo does work better. Storye book (talk) 09:40, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Whenever you have time, Dieter Rexroth is next ;) - but before perhaps take a look at the latest attempt to have short simple hooks - and for whom? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:45, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rexroth done. I couldn't find the simple hooks attempt. Do you have a link? Storye book (talk) 10:27, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for Rexroth, - I just found one useful ref! - Sure I have a link, I just don't like to be accused of canvassing - the hook for Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, link to nom on the talk, and don't review ;) - perhaps also suggest a hook or two. Open noms are also listed on my user page, - not many, it's really at the moment even less enjoyable than infobox discussions ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:11, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
N's hook ALT2 looks fine to me. He is making an effort to accept the existence of real music. I'd say give him encouragement with ALT2 this time? Storye book (talk) 11:32, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. it's fine, but as I said I want to use that for the violinist. I said that the fantastic woman would add interest. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:24, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Haha. Good luck with that. I suppose there will always be power-hungry reviewers on DYK, but the only skills they can offer are those of denigration and destruction. Storye book (talk) 14:21, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was just great: you go to a youth orchestra, to do something for charity, and there's the first woman ever to have conducted at the Bayreuth festival! - Michael Boder pic? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:48, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Will try to do the Boder pic in a little while. My village broadband is excrutiatingly slow right now - exacerbated by a crappy google chrome browser update, which now makes it take about a minute for a page to update. I am hoping this might settle down soon, but it's been like this all day, in spite of restarts. Storye book (talk) 15:59, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Broadband back, and Boder done. Storye book (talk) 17:47, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

thank you, and nominated for RD - plum tree blossom for Kalevi Kiviniemi in the snow - see my talk --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:10, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My story today is about a piece composed for the Second Sunday after Easter 300 years ago, and I just returned from a (long) opera about the same age, with soprano Pretty Yende --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:21, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. Yende is a very fine singer. You were lucky to hear her sing live. Storye book (talk) 07:50, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I felt that! Her article is not great, and that of her emperor on stage is a mess (and I improved already), sigh. The best singer in the performance was Bianca Andrew. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:23, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting! I shall try to listen to her soon. Currently trying to catch up with WP tasks, but I think I've taken on too much at the moment. (I don't mind uploading your occasional ID pictures - that job is quick, and fun). Storye book (talk) 08:45, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Robert Winterberg? on the Main page now, so most helpful if soon --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:49, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done; free image this time. I'm having real difficulty finding images at the moment, having had a series of major software crashes in the past few days. I am currently unable to access Google search (which is a useful tool) and I'm having to use Bing (which is rubbish). So, in the near future, if you want an image for an article, please send me a link to a page with the correct picture in it, so that I can use that. Thank you. Thank you so much, will use the great pic for Portal:Germany then. - No danger today, - the composer who died has an image, and other one lives ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:09, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Winterberg article not by me, hook change from specific (Austrian Hungarian operetta composer whose work was adopted to Broadway! The Lady in Red the pretty title, - Woman in Red speaking) to something general about "a composer" performing for some queen which would not appeal to me, - I had no time to look up who did that but have my suspects. No time to argue, also they don't like my name, - dear company is better! - Cesare, they just coupled excerpt from 4 pieces with mixed pictures (so matching the music only briefly), Andrew is Sesto, the short-haired boy left at the beginning, and the duet with the contralto is the middle number (Cesare first, then Cleopatra, and the final), its end matching the situation pictured first. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:30, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
relief: the last of six RD articles in one week is now on the Main page - yesterday I went to a great recital with many anti-war songs by Jewish composers whose music was banned by the Nazis. - For pics, I thought about Henny Wolff, but found no page with an image yet. No rush, bday in February. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:56, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wolff done. Storye book (talk) 07:10, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, - your gift for these finds is amazing! - Today's story is a birthday of a living one, and I was in the performance mentioned on DYK (see trailer), - in 2018, such things were possible. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:32, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
another birthday to listen in (see my talk) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:34, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I hope to look at your links later. I am overwhelmed with work at the mo. Storye book (talk) 09:44, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When you get back perhaps Helga Pilarczyk, no rush, died 2011, I just notice that she has no pic (needs refs also, will do some day). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:41, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Helga Pilarczyk done. I find it therapeutic and fun to do these pictures, and it's a quick job, usually. Enjoy! Storye book (talk) 20:22, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
thank you - now images of a flock of sheep that I met by chance on the 300th birthday of cantata Du Hirte Israel, höre, BWV 104 --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:28, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New page reviewer granted[edit]

Hi Storye book, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.

This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:

You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! Hey man im josh (talk) 16:49, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
