Proposed deletion of Idia Aisien[edit]

The article Idia Aisien has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no way a person born today can be notable and/or be a television presenter and model.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ∼∼∼∼ Eric0928Talk 19:33, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ONYC Hair, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 23:26, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do Take Note[edit]

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Thelma Okoro, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Vumomse moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Vumomse, does not have enough sources and citations as written to establish notability. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources that speak to the individual's notability. (?) I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Request reason:

Hi, I think I have probably crossed the lines and I apologize, am a member of the Nigerian WikiProject and the said new user Kareemarh ask for my help today for two things, 1. One being are recently created article which was accepted into the AFC Glenn Mena and later deleted today as it is similar to the last version which was deleted, I asked for her to explain what she knows about the previous which she even clarified as the new version she wrote without knowing about the old one was done through assistance on the Wikipedia live help, hence she doesn’t know what next todo she disclosed her login details to me (I authoritative denied are request but later accepted and I mentioned I could spear her just 10 mins of my time to speak to the deleting admin) after which she should change her password. 2. The second being a new draft article which was made on her user space and she needed help moving to main space draft, I also help her doing that from my own account, she further requested for review and I specifically told her I can only proof read, make corrections but I do not have the nessesary rights to review or accept an article, and for now I’m only working on AFD’s, as I simply asked another editor who is a member of the Nigerian WikiProject to further help her, hence it’s also a Nigeria related article. However I accept my mistakes and i effusively apologize again that such won’t be done again as my account is over 6 years old and I have never violated any Wikipedia guidelines for Editors, I’d appreciate if my account can be restored back to normal. Thanks.

Request reason:

Hi again, sorry i had to clarify the entire situation and if it’s not clear enough to explain the technical abuse, in summary of what I said earlier, I want to again state that the two accounts where accessed from the same IP which resulted to the technical abuse, I have resolved the said issue, and am sure such won’t happen again. I hope this explains better (as I’m also finding it difficult to understand the word “technical abuse” do forgive my ignorance on this) and I look forward to your favorable response with many thanks. Hi Yunshui Have decided to take cautions on the Request for assistance I’d be rendering, per Wikipedia community guidelines I will never use multiple account on the community again. Have learnt my lessons and I can assure you this won’t happen again.

Is Nutin (talk) 09:30, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What assistance will you be rendering, exactly? Yunshui  09:31, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yunshui usually I correct typos on existing articles, i fix dead links and I also contribute on the AFD’s that concerns Nigerian related articles, sometimes Entertainment related ones, I also assist new Nigerian users to fact check and proof read their first articles on the encyclopedia before asking them to go ahead with their submissions to the AFC that is if they meet WP Basic requirements to ascertain notability.

Hence my contributions are always Entertainment related, same as most of my assistance. Is Nutin (talk) 09:37, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Per Yunshui response on my last request for unblock on how I have resolved the said issue and what steps have I taken for such not to happen again, I have responded on my talk page and he seem to be offline. This was my response: “Have decided to take cautions on the Request for assistance I’d be rendering, per Wikipedia community guidelines I will never use multiple account on the community again. Have learnt my lessons and I can assure you this won’t happen again.” And I clearly stated that I have never broken any Wikipedia community guideline with my 6 years of using the platform, either on the articles I created which I wrote from a neutral point of view being a writer or the times I have contributed to Nigerian Entertainment related articles that have either been created and I helped in fixing dead links or typos on them or my contributions on AFD’s, again I’d like to appeal effusively that cautions have been taken and my account be unblocked. Thanks! Is Nutin (talk) 8:43 am, 5 December 2018, Wednesday (15 days ago) (UTC+0)

Decline reason:

Your explanation doesn't match the checkuser evidence. If two different people used the Kareemarh account, we would have different signs, but we don't. Only one person has used the Kareemarh account, and that person is the same person who used the Soltesh account. SilkTork (talk) 16:44, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: Would you mind reviewing this block? If I'm following correctly, Kareemarh requested help with an article that got speedied, and gave her login credentials to Soltesh over IRC. Soltesh then used her account to leave talk page messages for the deleting admin and other editors involved. This is a pretty clear violation of WP:NOSHARING, but not sockpuppetry per se. Moreover, I'm not seeing the actual harm done here. Seems like a productive editor who made a mistake and has acknowledged it. -- Scott (talk) 21:58, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Yunshui: What are your thoughts? One problem I have with the user's explanation is they were not just editing from the same IP. They appear to have been using the same device.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:41, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23: I concur. I have reason to be somewhat suspicious of multiple accounts editing from this location, since I know of at least one paid editing ring operating multiple accounts from this user's area. Yunshui  08:05, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Yunshui: I hav never been paid for editing since I start editing on the encyclopedia, my case here is particularly different, I have admitted to editing with the other said user account per request from the user, I have clearly stated repeatedly that such would never happen again, please I’m appealing sincerely from the uprightness of my heart that such wont happen again, please be considerate and tender your resolve with mercy, I recently joined the Nigeria’s WikiProject which I was invited to and I do not know about any syndicate performing such action, we should also understand that we have few service providers in Nigeria and IP probably might be same for some number of users.

Appreciative! - Is Nutin (talk) 08:12, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Based on your comments, I'm unwilling to unblock you. First, you haven't been editing for six years on Wikipedia with this account - more like 4.5 years. Second, in that time, you have a grand total of 261 live edits, of which only 157 are to article space. You also have 88 deleted edits, which are mainly you creating pages that were not deemed suitable for Wikipedia. Third, your comment about creating a new account is a threat to continue socking; that alone is unacceptable. Finally, you accuse people of "bias", which is not conducive to collaborating appropriately in this environment. I suggest you get on with your life as you previously considered doing and forget about editing at Wikipedia; it apparently isn't a venue that is good for you or for the project.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:42, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Bbb23 Firstly I never accused anyone of being biased, it was a lite statement out of frustration. 2. Secondly I never threatened to create another account, I only said if I had never wanted to appeal and create another account I’d have done so, I didn’t consider that option. 3. I don’t see how someone in my position won’t be as frustrated as this, it’s been over two weeks I have been appealing and no one was talking to me, I’d appreciate if you’d reconsider your decision and forgive my ignorance if you got my message the wrong way.

What I think was the most important was that I admitted to my wrong and I apologized, I still kept on appealing even right now as am typing this. I apologize whole heartedly. - Thanks! Is Nutin (talk) 01:48, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    • @Bbb23: I have retracted my previous comment, I said it was due to some sort of frustration and I sincerely apologize over my previous comment, I’d gladly appreciate your reconsideration based on @Scott Burley: Request.

Thanks! Is Nutin (talk) 07:56, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SilkTork: There's nothing more to say, hence I have been appealing please I’d like to request another chance and I promise such won’t happen again. Please give me the benefit of doubts and allow me indulge you, kindly unblock my account. If there’s anything else you’d like me todo, let me know. Thanks - Is Nutin (talk) 16:56, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes people make a mistake. Provided they are open and honest, we are often willing to give people a second chance. You have made three appeals in which you have attempted to deceive us. Four experienced Wikipedia admins have looked into your situation, and you have attempted to mislead all of us. At this point you have lost our trust. We will not consider any more appeals at the moment because we cannot trust what you say. Integrity is required to edit Wikipedia. The route open to you now is our "Standard offer". Wait six months, and make another appeal along the lines outlined in Wikipedia:Standard offer. We would expect you to explain why you created two accounts, and to declare if you are a paid contributor per Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. The more open and honest you are, the more likely it is that the community will let you back in; but bear in mind that the community do take a very dim view of paid contributors who have edited without disclosing, have operated sock accounts, and have lied about it. You will need to be very open and honest to get back in.
I must stress that there is no point in appealing any more at this point, and if you make another appeal, it is likely that your talkpage access will be removed. You have taken up enough of people's time as it is. Try again in six months. SilkTork (talk) 17:23, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SilkTork: I’m deeply sorry for all the inconveniences caused, It was just that what I do during my leisure lately was taken away from me.

If 6 months is the ultimate price to pay for all the troubles I must have caused, I’m willing to pay it. Thanks for throwing more lights @SilkTork:, @Bbb23: sorry for the way I also did spoke to you, do accept my sincerest apology.

Highest Regards! - Is Nutin (talk) 17:44, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Request June 2019[edit]

Hi @SilkTork:, Trust you are good? Should i go ahead and appeal again? thanks Is Nutin (talk) 12:18, 22 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you can. Now listen carefully - read this word for word at least twice, make notes of the important bits that relate to you: Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. Tell the truth. Do not attempt to lie. If you lie we cannot trust you. Wikipedia runs on trust. If you lie you will not be unblocked. Be completely honest about the User:Kareemarh account. Be very clear about the reason why you are creating new articles. If you are being paid, then read this carefully word for word, at least twice, and make notes regarding the bits that relate to you: Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. You'll note that if you are being paid, that does not prohibit you from editing Wikipedia as long as you make it clear that you are being paid. But if you are being paid, and you don't tell us, and then we find out, we will block you. The more time you spend on your appeal, the more detailed and honest you are, the more likely it is you will be unblocked. Good luck! SilkTork (talk) 13:07, 22 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi, thanks for the opportunity to appeal again after the 6 months suspension. I'd like to apologies for whatever troubles my actions might have caused and i want to also use this medium to address the two issues @SilkTork: have highlighted, the first being 1. The account User:Kareemarh, I'd be truthful about this account, honestly i had no intention on using this account for any reason that would result to problems on the encyclopedia, I only created the account just so i use it to contribute as well, if i knew Wikipedia does not permits running two accounts, i wouldn't have created one. This is the reason why its difficult for me to explain why i created the account as i don't even know what to say, i can only admit i created the account with the intention to run to accounts, and i deeply apologies for the confusion last here. Secondly, the question of being a paid contributor or not, On two occasions i have been offered money to write, the first being for a page i never knew was deleted some years back, as at the time i checked the subjected matter was notable ONYC Hair, and i didn't know the reason why it was deleted, i wrote about the company and it was approved and i was compensated for it, later on the article was deleted for being similar with a previously deleted one (which i had no idea about), the second was about an entrepreneur i told him he failed Wikipedia's guidelines for notability, and he only requested i just helped him draft the article, which i did and he also compensated me, surprisingly another editor took the subject from my page re-edited and got it approved as a stub. Outside this, i have always contributed to entertainments/fashion related subjects that i find interest in, and i usually double check for fact and news sources before editing, most times i ask for help from more experienced editors if i can go ahead and submit for review. Basically this are my positions, and i have said nothing but the truth, if Wikipedia does not allow compensation, then i'd stop accepting one. Hence at this point i'd like to appeal again that my account is reconsidered and allowed to contribute on Wikipedia again, having maintained calm and patience for the waited time of since months to re-appeal again. - Accept my highest regards! Is Nutin (talk) 08:37, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

These two edits here and here give the appearance of trying to appear as two different people. I have more than one account and we don't talk to each other. Previously, you have denied operating two accounts, and according to your talk page, you concocted some concoction about one giving the other a password, on here and on IRC. In short, you lied. This destroys any ability to trust you or to WP:AGF. Especially in the Setting of WP:UPE.   Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:50, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I note the ping. As I declined you six months ago I will leave this request for another admin to look into. I will say, though, that your explanation of the use of the Kareemarh account is inadequate. You would need to explain this [1] in which you have one account talking to another, asking for help, and why you claimed in your initial unblock request that Kareemarh was a new female editor you were trying to help. If I was to review your request I would decline it as, despite my explaining that you needed to be honest and clear about that account, you have not been. You also need to be much clearer about if you intend to accept payment in future for writing an article, and what you would do if you were offered payment. I have linked you to the guideline about paid writing, please read it rather than saying "if Wikipedia does not allow compensation, then i'd stop accepting one". We have guidelines on how to edit Wikipedia. It really helps if you read and follow them. Especially when they have been pointed out to you. SilkTork (talk) 12:11, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • As I earlier said, I created the account. I did it for someone who needed my help, but I wasn't interested in the subject matter so I never wanted to use my account in creating the page, however it got to some point I needed to use my account to make changes to the page so I made it look like Kareemarh was asking for editorial help, and I sincerely apologies for this.
    • In the issue of payments, I have read the guidelines, and just so I don't get my self into all this again I do not wish to accept payment to write any article again. The stress my last actions has gotten me into, I do not wish to go another round again. I'm deeply sorry for my actions, and my only wish is to be reconsidered. - Thanks! Cc @SilkTork: Is Nutin (talk) 12:30, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I note the ping, but you'll need to wait for another admin to look into this as I was the one to decline you last time, and I would be inclined to decline again. I hope things go well for you whatever happens. I have put in a new section heading to avoid confusion with your request last year. SilkTork (talk) 15:20, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi Dlohcierekim, Thanks for taking out time to review, there was no specific place on my last appeal which i just did after the wait period of 6 months i denied any of this, in good faith i admitted all wrongs and i asked to be forgiven for the sake of moving on and nothing such action would never occur again. I have clarified all this to @SilkTork: on this appeal thread. Now it seems forgiveness here is a bit difficult, i don't know what else to say or do. Again, i'm tendering my unreserved apology and i'd appreciate if your last conclusion could be reconsidered again. Is Nutin (talk) 23:33, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You may appeal again in six months. In order for that appeal to succeed you need to be completely honest. If you lie again we may extend the period for your next appeal to one year. SilkTork (talk) 00:40, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Have stayed clear from wikipedia for more than a year now and I thought I should give it a shot again if my appeal will be considered this time. 1. Being the issue of the account Kareemahr I have repeatedly said I had no intentions what so ever to use the account as a suck puppet, I didn't want the article I wrote on my name and I used the account to request help on mine just so it looks a legit, and am really really sorry about my actions, I suffered the consequence of being suspended for more than a year now. 2. Secondly, the question of if am a paid write, the answer is No. And the other if am offered payment to write an article, in this case, with what I have been through am not sure I want to be involved with that or anything that will cost me my account again if am unsuspended. Please this is coming from my heart, I really do not know how to appeal enough, kindly forgive my actions I beg of you. - Thanks! Is Nutin (talk) 15:34, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your very first sentence in this unblock request is a clear and verifiable lie. You know your contribution log is public, right? And it shows you last edited with this account in July of 2019? Given the previous concerns around lying, this is a terrible sign. I suggest this resets the timer. You may apply under WP:SO no sooner than six months from today. At that point, I suggest being fully, completely honest with us. For the record, six months from today is 2020-07-16. Yamla (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2020 (UTC) Additional: I see you were warned, by SilkTork above, that any further lying would extend the period for your next appeal to one year. I follow that advice. I suggest you are not eligible to apply again until 2021-01-16.[reply]

Requests for uncreated articles[edit]

Greetings & a great weekend to you all. I believe it would be great if the (Requests for uncreated articles) section in our wiki project can be attended to & at least one article be created this weekend as some requests have been pending since 2016. I believe this would be pivotal to the encyclopedia as a whole & a means to get editors who have gone inactive to revive their Wikipedia activities. Sent by Celestina007.
