Overlinking[edit]

Hi there, I noticed you are placing lots of links in articles. I understand you are trying to improve Wikipedia, but most of the words you are linking should not be linked. Please familiarize yourself with the MOS:OVERLINK Wikipedia guideline. Thanks. TarkusABtalk/contrib 15:33, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, got it. Thanks. Simtastic01 (talk) 16:20, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Please see WP:CATDD, specifically Use the most specific categories possible. You are adding less specific categories to articles, e.g. here. Please go over those and remove them. --Muhandes (talk) 12:42, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Universities in North East India should include only categories, Category:Universities in Arunachal Pradesh, Category:Universities in Assam, etc., for all eight states in North East India. You are creating an unneeded parallel categorization. --Muhandes (talk) 12:56, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your suggestions. I feel like that a category for State Universities would be useful, particularly for India, where there are different nomenclatures for universities. Your suggestions on Category:Universities in North East India is well- received, and I will make the changes shortly. Thanks! Simtastic01 (talk) 11:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mind the category for State Universities. The point is that if you categorize a page under Category:State universities in Andhra Pradesh, you need to remove the page from Category:State universities in India and Category:Universities in Andhra Pradesh. I think I corrected most of the categories you added for universities in India, but you should probably check the categories you added in other fields. Have fun. --Muhandes (talk) 12:50, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I got your point. And thanks for the edits. I will do the necessary changes. Once I have some time.... Probably during the weekend or next week. Have a great day. Simtastic01 (talk) 10:00, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
