I tried to edit a page and I got a notification that my IP has been blocked. I am using an Internet cafe and i was told there is no VPN installed.

I have made some corrections to the article and also requested for help through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:IRC_help_disclaimer. Some people there were kind enough to make some corrections and other suggestions.

The following changes have been made to the article to improve its neutrality:

The promotional tone of the article has been removed.

The article now presents a more balanced view of Oresanya's career, including both his successes and his challenges.

The article now uses more neutral language, avoiding subjective statements and opinions.

Yes, the previous Draft was rejected after submission, which means I cant resubmit it again for review after making some changes and added more references to the article.

That is why I created a new article and resubmitted after many some corrections to it.

The policy does not forbid me from submitting another article if the first one is rejected right? Especially after making significant changes to the article.

Significant changes or not, the first draft was rejected for lack of notability, which means the sources cited do not satisfy the WP:GNG standard. The same 32 references were used in the second draft, so in that respect there were no changes. I am nit trying to game the system.

The mistake was that after the draft was rejected, I kept editing the rejected draft by adding more reference links to it before creating a new draft. Since it was rejected and i can't re-submit it for review, I didn't know it would still be referred to. That's is why the old draft and new one looked exactly the same.

I am not being directly or indirectly compensated to create this article. I declared that while creating the draft. Ola Oresanya is a highly respected Environmentalist in Nigeria with over 30 years of working and consulting for governments in Nigeria. I feel he deserves a Wikipedia article, this is not to promote him or his achievements.

I have read many wikipedia pages, i have contributed and edited many wiki pages and I also read through the criteria for creating a wikipedia page for a living person and he meets many of the checklists.

My desire is to improve as an editor and contributor wo wikipedia page, this is the reason why I am interested in successfully publishing this article. I have spent several days doing research and creating this article, i don't want all the efforts to go to waste.
