• In all Spanish dialects the rule is the same, lower case participles aren't use in sorting: so {{Da Silva, Cristian}} if "Da" is capitalized, and {{Silva, Cristian da}} if it isn't. I don't mind sorting as {{Da Silva}} if we move the page to Cristian Da Silva, but most refs list him as "da Silva". Hello, Ortizesp,

I'm not saying that your page moves are against guidelines but you have moved dozens and dozens, maybe hundreds of articles. I find it hard to believe that they were all at incorrect page titles. Please do not move articles based on your personal preferences but because policy states that they need to be moved. Take things slow and don't move so many articles quickly, if there are problems, that is a lot of page moves to revert. I understand you are knowledgable about the subject matter but I find it doubtful that this many articles were mistitled over the years. Thank you for all of your contributions. Liz ^{Read! Hey Liz, I should be done these sort of mass moves forever. I just retrofitted pages to match WP:NCSP and WP:COMMONNAME; believe it or not a lot of these pages for Mexican footballers are in the wild west and have not been cared for in years, and likely many will be deleted as they are not quality articles. All the moves were made in good faith, and should be more or less correct (at the very least there is one universal standard for footballers now). Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Hello. The Irish Examiner source that you added to verify Mr Clarke-Salter being born to a Jamaican father and an Irish mother doesn't seem to verify anything of the sort. The closest it comes is a quote from Mr Clarke-Salter which appears in multiple other sources, that his "grandma was born in Ireland and all those on [his] mum's side are pretty much Irish". However, the piece doesn't mention the word Jamaican, nor does it mention anything whatsoever about Mr Clarke-Salter's father. Do you have any explanation for this?
