August 2020[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Championship Wrestling from Hollywood shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Information icon Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. SpinningSpark 16:16, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

that person needs to learn not be rude I the first place then maybe I shouldn't have not so anything rude back in return when they're going around moving stuff from Wiki for no reason Jjwalker130 (talk) 02:33, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is not rude to remove material. It happens all the time and is a normal part of the editing process. In any case, even if it were rude, it is not necessary for you to be rude back this and this are completely unacceptable ways to behave. What is expected of you is to discuss the disagreement in a collegial manner sticking to the issues and assuming good faith of the other editor rather than hurling insults at them. The response I expected here was "sorry, I'll try not to do it again". Instead, you indicated that you have every intention of doing it again in the future. I'm almost inclined to block you right now to prevent that happening. SpinningSpark 10:17, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And do you work personally for Wikipedia or something to tell me this stuff I haven't done anything since then that's bad so Jjwalker130 (talk) 02:15, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to hear you "haven't done anything since then that's bad". If you are asking if I am paid WMF staff, no I'm not. If you are asking if I actually have the power to block you, yes I do, I'm a site administrator. SpinningSpark 08:38, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Impact Wrestling programming, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Armenian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
