Hi DoubleGrazing,
Thank you for reviewing my page. I'm a first time page-creator and am trying to successfully work through the complicated process.
I'm wondering: is the fix here as simple as rewriting the text taken from the SDLuckett website? And/or how is it possible to use the copied text as I have explicit permission from the subject of the page, Dr. Luckett?
Thank you in advance for your help,

Hi,
It's not enough for the copyright owner to give you a permission to use it, they must release it into the public domain under a compatible (Creative Commons) licence, so that anyone in the world can use it for whatever they want. If that's what you and the copyright owner want, then you can find advice on this at WP:Donating copyrighted materials.
However, in practice it's much easier to just recreate the content in your own words, as you suggest yourself.
On a different matter, what is your relationship with the subject? I ask because you say you've obtained permission to use the content. I will post a message below regarding conflicts of interest (COI), and how to manage them. Please read and action as relevant.
