File:James Westerfield on The Andy Griffith Show c. 1964.jpg[edit]

I saw that you have removed File:James Westerfield on The Andy Griffith Show c. 1964.jpg from James Westerfield, but you probably shouldn't have done that. The file was almost certainly going to end up deleted either on January 21 or January 22 per WP:F7 which is much faster than it would end up being deleted per WP:F5; moreover, all some one needs to do to de-orphan the file is to simply re-add it some article. F5 deletions are WP:SOFTDELETIONs and considered for the most routine housekeeping so to speak and non-free files deleted per F5 qualify for undeletion via WP:REFUND . F7 deletions, however, mean the file is being deleted for much stronger reasons and thus getting them restored is not as simple and usually require a WP:DRV. I'm sure you you were just try to help, but you've actually made things a bit more complicated. File tagged for speedy deletion per F7 probably should be left alone until an administrator reviews them; removing them from articles to try and get them de facto deleted as "orphaned non-free use" can be seen as an attempt to try and have a file deleted without giving anyone a chance to discuss or dispute the deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:44, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adding unsourced and irrelevent biographical info[edit]
