The Movies That Made Us is an American documentary web television series created by Brian Volk-Weiss, and a spin off to The Toys That Made Us. The four episode debut season of the new series is dedicated to popular movies from the 1980s and 1990s, and tell the stories behind them.[1][2]

The first four episodes of the series began streaming on Netflix on November 29, 2019.[1] A second season, which featured all holiday movies, premiered on December 1, 2020.
