Template name - propose renaming Template Stonewall Jackson[edit]

I wonder if it would be better to rename this Template Stonewall Jackson. The page Stonewall links to several different articles, the majority not connected to Stonewall Jackson. Indeed there are several settlements on it called Stonewall (although a lot of them were named for Stonewall Jackson). I would agree that in the United States it is plausible to argue that most people might expect Stonewall to refer to the Confederate General, but I think internationally this is not the case. For instance in the UK a lot of people would expect Stonewall to refer to Stonewall (charity). Equally I think the prominence of the Stonewall riots needs to be thought about here. I would note that there have been two films simply called Stonewall- Stonewall (1995 film) and Stonewall (2015 film) - both of which are about the riots rather than the CSA general. Thus, I think a rename to Stonewall Jackson would be more accurate and avoid any possible confusion for Wikipedia users. Dunarc (talk) 20:46, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
