This form of periodic table is more congruent with the order in which electron shells are filled, as shown in the accompanying sequence in the left margin (read from top to bottom, left to right). The placement of helium (a noble gas) above beryllium (an alkaline earth metal) ordinarily attracts strong criticism from chemists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.29.118.228 (talk) 13:00, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
A query with doc pages[edit]
- @DePiep: I have obeyed a request to move Template:Left step periodic table (with shell filling sequence per row) to Template:Periodic table (left step). That automatically carried all its subpages along with it, but not Template:Left step periodic table (with shell filling sequence per row)/doc to Template:Periodic table (left step)/doc, because Template:Periodic table (left step)/doc already existed. So I moved that old Template:Periodic table (left step)/doc to Template:Periodic table (left step)/doc2. and then I moved Template:Left step periodic table (with shell filling sequence per row)/doc to Template:Periodic table (left step)/doc.
