Technology section[edit]

Is a technology section really necessary? The games that use the dark engine list it in their articles, and it was only used in a few games. It seems odd to include it in this list. --BradBeattie 00:30, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough then, but you could have mentioned why that one link was removed when you changed the template layout.--Drat (Talk) 01:26, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True that. Sorry I spaced on mentioning that in the talk page. What do you think? Should we include the dark engine in the template? The template's focus seems mostly to be the games LGS made. --BradBeattie 03:04, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure either way. When I originally had the technology section, there was also a redlink on the Underworld engine. I removed that a while back as no citeable sources will likely ever be found about it's capabilities and full nature. The source code probably no longer exists. Hell, even the name of the engine is a guess.--Drat (Talk) 07:33, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hrm... if LGS made a couple of engines, I'd agree with having a techology section. As it stands though, it seems like a detail for SS2 and the Theif articles to link to. --BradBeattie 08:26, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
