Cancelled events[edit]

Should there be something added to the template to denote those events which have been cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic? Dunarc (talk) 19:55, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would agree with this personally, although I don't know if this has been discussed on any other pages. I'd propose strike-throughs. Maybe one of the big cricketing editors such as Lugnuts might be able to advise. Joalhe1997 (talk) 22:06, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the ping. I'm not a big fan of strike-throughs in templates, but I wouldn't oppose it being done just because I don't like it. Another solution could be to mark them in italics with a footer note, as per the Template:International cricket tours of Pakistan, showing which "home" tours were in the UAE. Happy to go with either, or indeed, another solution. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:31, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I could work with italics too; some of the tours are postponed rather than cancelled altogether. I just think it would be helpful to differentiate the tours that went ahead against the tours that didn't, especially as I can't keep up with which associate tours have been going on at the best of times! Thanks both - italics sounds like it might be a good way forward. Dunarc (talk) 22:44, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
