[edit]I just encountered a student here doing a reaction using SeO2. In her NMR tube a red solid appeared, which apparently is the precipitating selenium ("red amorphous solid" forming in the reaction as noted in OrgSyn; I incorporated the info now in selenium dioxide). This box does not include that info, and I'm not sure how (and if) to incorporate it into the box. Someone? --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:49, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- @Beetstra: you can add that red selenium is amorphous to the template using the appearances parameter. Opm581 (talk | he/him) 10:45, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

The infobox in the following page having its link as https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selenium has to get edited by replacing the "K" with a "K" at its boiling point section 14.139.41.90 (talk) 06:18, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Not done: Adding another wikilink to Kelvin isn't necessary per MOS:LINKONCE. Opm581 (talk | he/him) 09:44, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

If ever 685°C equals 958K or 1265°F, then 221°C equals 494K or 429.8°F instead of 430°F, so now I would like to replace "430°F" with "429.8°F" in the infobox of Selenium 117.208.13.165 (talk) 07:48, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
- 494K equals 429.53°F and 220.85°C. I have replaced the previous temperatures with those values. Opm581 (talk | he/him) 08:27, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
