Criteria for inclusion[edit]

Could you write some criteria for inclusion here on the talk page? There are loads of places to surf in Australia. Are you looking only to include those with very wide renown, or those that are popular locally? James James 05:12, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One can surf almost anywhere if they really want to. I created this template to bring together the most notable of surfing areas such as those known internationally and those used to host major tournaments. -- Longhair 05:16, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but some places are better than others ;-) I was just wondering whether I should add notable surf spots, or whether you really were just going for the cream. "Holds major tournaments" seems like a good criterion to me. James James 05:22, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Localy notable beaches are ok for inclusion. Jan Juc is one such notable area though I'm unsure if a tournament has ever been hosted there. We could always define those beaches of 'tournament quality' in some other way. -- Longhair 05:29, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

South Coast (New South Wales)[edit]

Recent Navbox conversion[edit]

I've noticed with the recent edit, it cut half of the list out, with the template listing the first line in the transcluded articles when browsing on Internet Explorer. --Arnzy (talk · contribs) 14:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed - I missed a pipe character when I did the conversion. [ducks and hides] Wongm (talk) 05:18, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
