As stated on the linked talk page, there is no reason for all bands to have the same template colours. It is a convention that benefits no one and simply results in users ignoring the templates because they're all the same. There is no sense in standardisation for the sake of standardisation - templates are meant to be navigational aids between related topics. The best way to differentiate different topics from one another is through colour - it is simple but effective. DJR (T) (WC) 21:19, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
