Talk:Internet video

Title[edit]

I think the term internet video is wrong. It should be webvideo. See the discussion on Talk:Webvideo for details. Titusn 08:19, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That is absolutely incorrect. The web is an application on top of the Internet (which is the network). Internet Video is another application that also runs over the Internet. Agupte 14:42, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Out-of-date information?![edit]

  • The statement that 99% of the video online is Flash video is no longer true.
  • I don't think YouTube uses Flash video anymore.
  • As I understand it, Flash is a pariah.
  • Adobe will no longer support Flash in 2020. Adobe will finally kill Flash in 2020
  • If anyone reading this is more confident of my understanding of the situation, please make changes.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dawnvawn (talkcontribs) 01:23, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
