National Key Disciplines

National Key Disciplines (Chinese: 国家重点学科; pinyin: guójiā zhòngdiǎn xuékē) is a list of key disciplines currently recognized as important by the central government of the People's Republic of China.[1]
The assessment and rating of national key disciplines have been conducted during the period between 1988 and 2012.

Most of the universities with first-level national key disciplines have now been included in the Chinese state Double First-Class Construction.
