To stay busy after having her first baby, Morgan began working as a jewelry saleswoman.[3][6][7] While making door-to-door sales, she began talking about motherhood and making jokes with clients who related to her jokes and eventually began booking her for comedy gigs.[3][8]

Morgan's first comedy special on YouTube reached over 50 million views by 2023.[3] Her Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman, reached the top 10 comedy specials on the platform.[3][9]

She is managed by Levity Talent and represented by United Talent Agency.[10][11]

Personal life[edit]

Morgan was married at the age of 21 but ended the abusive relationship. At the age of 26 she married Chuck, whom she met at the University of Tennessee.[3][10] After getting married, they moved to Bean Station, where Chuck owned and operated a used mobile home business.[3] Morgan and her family later moved to San Antonio, Texas and then Knoxville, Tennessee.[3][10] She and her husband have three children.[12][13]
