Khan Khel Swati is a sub-section in various sections of all three branches of Swati tribe.[1] Apart from this, there is also a direct House of Khankhails in Swati tribe to which Chief of Swati tribe belongs. They are recognized as Gibaris but their sub-section among Gibaris is disputed throughout the history.
Following are the sections of the Swati tribe having the Khankhel subsection:
- Alisheri (branch: Mitravi)
- Arghushal (branch: Gibari)
- Malkal (branch: Gibari)
- Panjghol (branch: Gibari)
- Iznali (branch: Gibari)
- Jehangiri (branch: Gibari)
- Begal (branch: Mitravi)
- Khankhel, Chiefs of Swatis (Branch: Gibari)[2]
- Sarkheli (Branch: Gibari)
