Guillermo Guzmán Magaña (born 28 September 1964) is a retired Mexican athlete who specialised in the hammer throw.[2] He represented his country at the 1991 and 1993 World Championships without qualifying for the final. In addition he won multiple medals at regional level.
His personal best in the event is 71.46 metres set in Mexico City in 1992. This is a former national record.
In addition to athletics, he competed in weightlifting winning a bronze medal at the 1990 Central American and Caribbean Games in the 110 kg category.
His younger sister Violeta Guzmán was also a hammer thrower as was his son Guillermo Guzmán Jr.
