Description
English: A member of a Syrian honor guard stands beside the flag of Iraq (1963-1991) as his unit prepares for the arrival of a visiting dignitary. The soldier, armed with an AK-47 assault rifle, is in the region during Operation Desert Shield.
Date 14 May 1992 (Although it is impossible because Operation Desert Shield was over by then).
