Reception

[edit]

Matt Marcus, a staff writer at Okazu, gave the series an overall 8 out of 10, noting that "The premise is so nakedly (ha) transparent in its aims that even when a gag is eye-rollingly contrived [...] I find myself unable to find it distasteful." He further praised Casper Kazor's work on the localization, "there are a lot of really fun little turns of phrase that got me chortling."[9]

Does it Count if You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? was featured on BookWalker's top-selling manga for 2023 and 2024.[10]
