Chaenophryne melanorhabdus (commonly known as smooth dreamer in English and rêveur sombre in French[2]) is a species of fish.[3] The species occurs in much of the Pacific Ocean at the Bathypelagic zone.[1] The IUCN lists the species as least concern due to its wide distribution and lack of major threats.[1]
