4 January 2018 Kabul bombing

At about 8:30 pm on 4 January 2018, a suicide bombing occurred in Kabul, Afghanistan. It happened at a marketplace at which shopkeepers were protesting against the police. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, which killed at least 20 people and injured approximately another 30.
