Fulham announced a tour of the United States to take part in the Premier League Summer Series pre-season tournament with matches against Brentford, Aston Villa and Chelsea.^[46] On 12 July, a home pre-season friendly against 1899 Hoffenheim was confirmed.^[47]

FA Cup[edit]

As a Premier League side, Fulham entered in the third round, and were drawn at home to Rotherham United.^[57] They were then drawn at home to Newcastle United in the fourth round.^[58][59]

EFL Cup[edit]

Fulham entered the competition in the second round, and were drawn at home to Tottenham Hotspur.^[60] They were then drawn at home to Norwich City in the third round,^[61] away to Ipswich Town in the fourth round,^[62] and away to Everton in the quarter-finals.^[63] In the two-legged semi-finals, they were drawn against Liverpool.^[64][65]
