First source: Please double-check the first source I sent you; and search for this sentence "Numerous individuals and small groups have been expelled from the body of the movement, but no important sects have yet developed". It is there in the last paragraph. This sentence is also available in the first two search results in google books (please see them here.)

Second Source: The second source was published by multiple publishers, one of them was internal (which the link is available online) but the first publisher is Harper and Row which is a very strong publisher. This work has been designated by the Encyclopaedia Britannica as one of the ten books of the year “that have made significant contributions to knowledge and understanding” in the domain of religion. They described the book as "a comprehensive introduction to the history, philosophy and practices of one of the youngest religions of the world".(1986 Britannica Book of the Year, pages 62-64). The first publisher of the book "Harper and Row" is a highly credible academic publisher (ranking A); please note that Cornell University Press, Duke University Press, Routledge, University of Michigan Press, University of Toronto Press, and Springer also have the same ranking.

"Third Source: The third source also says that calling these groups as sects is incorrect: "this characterisation is in a sense incorrect.

Hi Michel, I still think having a separate row for them make them significant and give them undue weight. Almost all introductions to the Bahá’í religion do not mention them at all due to their insignificance. Hi Michel, sorry for the delay. The sources above basically say that due to the explicit conveyance of authority which is known as covenant, the the Baha'i faith has preserved its unity and did not split into groups or sects. Historically there has been attempts to challenge the authority of the head of the Baha'i religion but they did not succeed. They were a) extremely small (less than 100 members), b) short-lived and withered away, c) had no life of their own and no communal life. That's why these sources say that there is no sect in the Baha'i faith. Source 3 says that 'splinter groups' is also an incorrect description. Please see below excerpts from the above sources that prove my points:

Hi again, the sources also say that they were ephemeral (existed only shortly in the past) and extremely small, a few hundred individuals all together which is less than 0.006% of the population of Bahá’ís (5 million people). Because of their insignificance having them in a separate row would violate the en:Wikipedia:undue weight policy ("Undue weight can be given in several ways, including ... prominence of placement"). If you do not agree, let's change the name to groups for now, but let's not conclude the discussion perhaps other users would chime in in the future. Hi again, my point is that because they were extremely small and ephemeral (which we both agree on), putting them together in a separate row called "Baha'i groups" would violate Wikipedia's undue weight policy (en:Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view#Due_and_undue_weight), it would basically convey this wrong impression that there are multiple groups that are relatively significant. Please note that it is because of this insignificance that source 3 says even calling them "splinter groups" is an "incorrect description". My suggestion is to put them in the "related articles" row as shown below, let's get a third opinion on this if you disagree
