Template talk:Ceremonies of the British monarch

Another version[edit]

I've put another version here, what do you think? The blue is the blue from the Union Jack, I removed the Vigil of the Princes (as that, strictly speaking, was not a ceremony of the Monarch but of her children and grandchildren, and also was a one-off event), added Maundy and Remembrance day. It's wonderful, would you like to come and decorate my room? ;) Not too sure about Remembrance day though (yes I know royal.gov have it listed!) ;) Perhaps we should change it to "...of the British royal Family" so we can reinstate Vigil of the Princes and add inaugraition of the Prince of Wales? Thoughts? --Cameron* 17:38, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well.. inauguration of the PoW is a ceremony of the monarch; I doubt that anyone else can/would perform the ceremony. So that should probably be in there anyway. Hmm... take a look now. I'm not sure where to fit in the Inauguration, though. Prince of Canada t | c 17:54, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Traditional, I'd say. The only problem is...we don't actually have the article yet. Fancy collaborating? ;) --Cameron* 17:58, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I could have sworn we did...how odd. And yes.. I'll add it to the template and throw something in the new page to get it started. Prince of Canada t | c 18:06, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
my sandbox is free actually. We can also use the talk page. --Cameron* 18:11, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I've already started.. I'm just nabbing bits from other pages; we can fix from there. (I'm the sort of person who's better at editing than creating from scratch). Prince of Canada t | c 18:19, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK; I've made a start too. Drop by from time to time to make sure we're not writing the same bits! --Cameron* 18:23, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
