Savyetski District or Saviecki District[2] (Belarusian: Савецкі раён; Russian: Советский район) is an administrative division of the city of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. It was named after the Soviets.[3] As of 2023, it has a population of 156,739.[1]

Geography[edit]

The district, the smallest of the city, is situated in central and south-western area of the city and borders with Tsentralny, Pyershamayski and Partyzanski districts.

Transport[edit]

The district is served by the Maskoŭskaja subway line. It is also crossed by the MKAD beltway .
