Mandakini is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Vinod Leela and produced by Sanju Unnithan under the banner Spire Productions.[2] It stars Althaf Salim, Anarkali Marikar, and Ganapathi S. Poduval in the lead roles.[3][4] The film released on 24 May 2024.[5]
This movie generally received positive reviews from the critics and was a commercial success at box office.[6]

Aromal and Ambili tied the knot. Aromal was excited and delighted to start a life with Ambili, but on that wedding night, Aromal‘s cousin deduces that aromal is tensed of his first night and decides to gives aromal alcahol with the help of aromal‘s brother-in-law. Aromal keeps the alcahol mixed with fruits and lemon in Aromal’s bedroom. Ambili takes the drink as she thought it was juice. Aromal drinks the normal juice which was kept in the kitchen. Ambili becomes fit due to the alcahol she consumed and asked Aromal whether he had any love affair before marriage. Aromal says NO and Ambili says she had a serious love affair before marriage and she wants to meet him now itself. She continuously says Sujith vasu. Now all the members in family came to know this and Aromal‘s mother decides to help Ambili meet Sujith vasu. Aromal’s mother, his sister Ajitha and two other ladies accompany them in the jeep which they were going. Aromal‘s mother asks why she wants to meet Sujith vasu now.Ambili replies that she wants to beat him as he cheated on her and told their entire love story. Sujith vasu promised to do register marriage with her. After that he was not atttending the calls of Ambili,when asked he tells her that he was arranging money for their register marriage, to that she tells that she will give gold so that they can do the things smoothly without any financial problems. The very next day she gives him the same. After that he never attended her calls. A doubted Ambili searched him in social medias and found that he enjoyed in other places with her money. Aromal’s mother searched him and beated Sujith vasu and gave Ambili a chance to beat him.Aromal‘s brother-in-law told him to return the gold which he borrowed from Ambili. In next scene it is seen that Sujith vasu is borrowing gold from another girl which is his girlfriend. In the climax Aromal says to Ambili that even if it is their second night he feels good because Sujith vasu will never come to their lives. If this problem didn't happened Sujith vasu will be horror dream for them. [7][6]

The title poster of the film was released in March 2024. The production company announced the release date for 24 May 2024.
