Salahley District (Somali: Degmada Salaxley) is a District in the most Eastern part of the Maroodi Jeex Region in Somaliland. Its capital lies at Salahlay.[1]
In September 2022, water with traces of crude oil was collected while drilling a well in Salahley.[2] the district is wholly dominated by the Eidagale sub-clan of the Isaaq clan famliy.
